HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR ESTATE SALE

 

Four Factors for a Successful Sale: Quantity – Quality – Condition – Location

 

YOU HAVE HIRED PROFESSIONALS TO CONDUCT YOUR ESTATE SALE

HERE ARE A FEW SUGGESTIONS TO MAKE IT A SUCCESSFUL AND LUCRATIVE ONE

 

Please… DO NOT throw anything away.

We have found valuables hidden in items that could have easily been thrown away as trash

Also, remember the old saying…  “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure”

Please allow us determine what can or cannot be sold – You’d be surprised what people buy!
Remove ONLY What You Want to Keep – Let us deal with EVERYTHING Else! 

 

We always set personal items aside: financial / health records, family photos, etc

If necessary, we will arrange for any trash removal, and dispose of any and all trash.

 

We recommend that you do not donate or give items away prior to the sale.  

If it can be donated, it can be sold at an Estate Sale
Estate Sale buyers look for a variety of items, including household content and garage sale items.
Lower value items help to bring in buyers who often buy other items while at the sale. 

 

Our past experience confirms we can get much better prices, even for garage sale items.

Everything we sell adds to the sale’s "bottom-line", which adds to your sale proceeds.
Remember - We sell everything in an Estate Sale – “Tupperware to Tiffany”

Because we work on Commission – The Sale needs to meet a “Minimum Dollar Amount”
We need full access to the home – and will need a key and any alarm codes

We ask that the family identify and remove all items they wish to keep prior to the Estate Sale
Due to the Staging and Preparation Process for the Sale, we do not begin work 

or conduct a sale while someone is still living in the home
